Design information
 | Use Customize Design > Design Information to view design information such as size and number of stitches. Add comments to print on worksheet. |
Your software provides information such as stitching details via the Design Information dialog. The data is stored with the design file and cannot be modified. The information can be accessed via the Customize Design toolbox or the Design Settings main menu. You will also see it displayed in the Design Info panel in the design manager. See also Browse designs.
The software also provides information about designs in other ways. Before even opening a design, you can check design information directly from Windows Explorer. The design printout too provides essential production information, including a design preview, the size of the design, color sequence and any special instructions.

Design summary
Select the Summary tab to view or enter summary information about a design.
Choose a field and enter any text which will help you identify the design at a later date, such as:
| Field | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Title | Defaults to filename. Cannot be modified. |
| Authors | Name of digitizer/s. |
| Tags | Keywords for potential searches in design manager. |
| Subjects | Similar to tags. To distinguish subjects from tags, we suggest you use this field for the name of the folder you save your designs to. |
| Comments | Comments for the design. Possibly includes operator instructions. |
Information from this tab also appears in the Design Info panel in design manager and can be searched on. The same information can also be edited in the Design Info panel. See also Browse designs.
