Unable to connect to the Authentication Server

On some PCs, users may experience difficulties when activating the software. You may have received a message saying that the system is unable to connect to the activation server.

Once this has been attempted three times, another error message appears stating that you have used all of the remaining activations.


This problem may be caused by slow internet connection between the PC and the activation server. To resolve this issue, you will need to contact your Janome dealer to organize an offline activation.

Security device not found

On some PCs, the product key is not enabled after the old Digitizer dongle has been attached. You may have received a message saying that the old dongle cannot be recognized.

You will need to contact your Janome dealer to organize for your product key to be enabled. For confirmation purposes, please provide your dongle serial number to the dealer.

 

 


Valid license could not be found

Error: A valid license to run the software could not be found (H0007).

Cause : The HASP security device drivers have not been installed correctly.

As the message advises, the problem can generally be resolved by reinstalling the security device (HASP) drivers from the Start menu. Go to the Digitizer V5 program group and select 'Reinstall HASP Drivers'.

 

 


HASP LM not running during installation

Error: HASP LM is not running during the installation

Cause : The anti-virus software has blocked the security driver from installing.

Steps to resolve: 

  • Cancel the installation of your embroidery software.
  • Temporarily disable your anti-virus software.
  • Restart the embroidery software installation.
  • After the installation has completed, re-enable the anti-virus software.

 


Update from DigitizerPro V2 to Digitizer V5

With the first release of Digitizer V5, version 2 updates were not supported and the product key had to be manually enabled by Support. With the second release (V5.0M), if you have not already updated from V2, you will be able to do so in the normal way. Simply reboot the machine and follow the product activation prompts on screen when you restart the software.

This issue is resolved only by installing the full installation included in the Digitizer V5.0M kit.

 


Upgrade from DigitizerJr V5 to Digitizer V5

Previously, customers upgrading from DigitizerJr V5 to Digitizer V5, were incorrectly prompted to attach a V5 dongle. This is not necessary with V5 upgrades which are handled by means of a product key.

This issue is resolved only by installing the full installation included in the Digitizer V5.0M kit.
