Add-on fonts

This page lists all fonts that are non-standard and can be purchased as extra-cost 'add-ons'. Add-on fonts can be purchased as font packs with Customizer (previously called Monogrammer), Creator, and Digitizer. No fonts are included with Basics level. Font packs can be purchased from the Hatch website.

Font pack 1 - Script

Script fonts can give the look of handwriting to your embroidery designs. This is one of the hardest font types to digitize and look good. This package contains three sets of script fonts that have been professionally digitized for your casual to elegant embroidery projects.

Font pack 2 - Monograms

Henriksson	0.3	8	2.4	60	Designed to be used as single medallion type lettering. Uppercase only. Great for a monogram with fancy scroll effects.
Microscan	0.3	7	1.6	40	Crisp and clear letters for small size fonts and a narrow baseline. Includes upper and lowercase letters and numbers.
Glory Appliqué	1.2	30	4.0	100	Uppercase alphabets and numbers to use as appliqué or not. Medium to tall size letters.
Lydian	0.3	8	2.0	50	Uppercase and lowercase letters. Great to use as small letters such as initials on collars or cuffs. Add a slight slant in the software and almost create a calligraphy look.

Font pack 3 - Sans Serif

Sans Serif fonts are amongst the easiest to read in embroidery. Add these fonts to your lettering and monogramming selections. Each one has been professionally digitized for use with keyboard entry.

Font pack 4 - Décor

Looking to do some home décor? This collection of professional embroidery lettering will add a touch of class. Arial Rounded Block gives you the modern look. Empress is great for a slanted look without going script. Border Block 2 is an upper-case font using a two-color block.

Font pack 5 - Special Occasions

Not your everyday boring fonts. Helvetica Sm is fantastic when you need a very small block font or writing text. City Script is a modern and slanted script great for larger size letters. It includes both upper and lower-case letters. Reduce the slant to zero in Hatch and make it a straight script too. Dauphin is a favorite fancy block style and amazing for special gifts. All fonts come in both block and script style.

Font pack 6 - Puffy Foam

Add puffy foam fonts to your designs and your casual projects are sure to go 'pop'. If you want to add 3D embroidery lettering, all you need is some puffy foam and 3D embroidery fonts to get started. Almost any design can take on new life by adding foam beneath for extra dimension. The fonts in this collection are specially digitized for use with puffy foam.

3D Block2	0.6	15	1.2	30	Block fonts are the most popular font style when using puffy foam. Perfect for backpacks, sports bags, caps. Use 2-3mm puffy foam with this font. This font will stitch as digitized, without closest join, to preserve the look.
3D Brush Script	0.8	20	1.6	40	Brush Script provides a handwritten feel with the artistic flair of brush and ink. 2mm foam recommended with this font. This font will stitch as digitized, without closest join, to preserve the look.
3D Monoglyceride	0.8	20	1.2	30	Bold, upright, sans serif, rounded. When you need a block look but want something a little more modern, try using Monoglyceride font. Use 2-3mm puffy foam. This font will stitch as digitized, without closest join, to preserve the right look.

Font pack 7 - Block

Block fonts are the 'go to' font style that works almost everywhere. These fonts are easy to read with a choice of bold, thin, or font outlines that work for any situation. Change the stitch type to embossed fill to give your block lettering a unique identity. Included in this collection are traditional block, modern block and outline.

Advent	0.4	10	2.0	50	This sans-serif upper case block font will give you a contemporary look. Great to use for wall art and backpacks. This is a medium size font and should not be used above 2 inches (50mm) unless you turn on Auto Split or Embossed Satin.
Kabel	0.25	6	2.4	60	Kabel will give you a book print look. It's readable at a small size of 0.25 inches (6mm). It looks great when used with the circle baseline to give a curved look to your project's fonts.
Swiss Run Hollow	0.6	15	4.0	100	An outlined font that can be used in many projects. Using run stitch, it's great to use when you want a hand-stitched look. It also works well for large size fonts up to 4 inches (100mm). In order to retain the hand-stitched look, this font should be stitched 'as digitized' and not as 'closest join'. It is upper case only. This font is fun to break apart in Creator or Digitizer product levels and play with adding different outlines and multiple colors.

Font pack 8 - Fancy

Fancy fonts add a little more creativity to your projects. They are fun to work with and excellent for home décor projects. This collection of fonts gives you a wide variety of options that will go with today’s décor all around your home.

Locker	0.6	15	1.6	40	This is a bold block font that gives you that 'retro' look. It works well when stitched in white-on-black to give a blackboard and chalk look. The maximum recommend height for this font is 1.6 inches (40mm) to prevent satin stitches becoming too wide. It's great for short phrases and wall art.
Victorian	0.3	7	1.0	25	The name says it all! Great font to give that 'vintage' look. Perfect to use for simple signs, wall art, and single name projects. Try using the first letter larger for a different look. This font combines well with mixed font types.
Western Serif	0.3	7	1.8	45	Western, Farmhouse, Rustic, Antique, Egyptian. Whatever your call the décor style, this is the perfect font! It has bold satin serifs that give it a classic look in many styles. This is an upper case font and combines well with sans serif block fonts.
